Expense tracking

Expense tracking built for wardrobe stylists

Pulls, fittings and last-minute runs produce a pile of receipts across stores and cards. Wrap Report keeps each purchase attached to the project it belongs to, so the record is already organized when the job wraps.

From receipt to project record

  1. 1

    Add the purchase

Record an expense by hand, or upload a receipt photo or file and start from that.

  2. 2

    Review the scanned details

Receipt scanning suggests the merchant, date and amounts. You check and correct them before saving — scans can misread faded or crumpled receipts, so the review step matters.

  3. 3

    Choose the workspace and project

Every receipt is filed to a project you pick. Nothing is assigned on your behalf.

  4. 4

    Close the gaps

Expenses without a receipt stay flagged. Attach the receipt later, or record an approved exception with a reason when a receipt will never exist.

What you can keep track of

  • A personal receipt inbox

Forward a supported receipt attachment to your personal inbox address. It waits there until you review it and file it to a workspace and project — emails never become project expenses on their own.

  • Missing receipts

See which expenses still need a receipt, so they can be chased down before the wrap report.

  • Organized by project, vendor and category

Each expense carries its project, vendor, category, date, amount and description, so spending can be reviewed the way you think about the job.

  • Budget and advance, kept apart

Compare project spending with the client's budget. Any advance you received is recorded separately — it is money in hand, not spending and not budget.

Recording expenses, receipt scanning and the receipt inbox are part of every plan, with monthly scan and storage allowances that differ by plan. Bulk receipt upload, custom categories and Excel export are included on Pro and Agency. Compare plans.

Common questions

Does Wrap Report connect to my bank or card?

No. Expenses come from receipts you upload or forward and entries you make yourself. There is no bank or card transaction sync.

Will every receipt be read perfectly?

No scan is error-free, and some receipts don't show every field. That's why each scan opens for review, and you confirm the details before they become an expense.

What happens to a receipt I email in?

It lands in your personal inbox, not in a project. You open it, choose the workspace and project, review the details, and then it becomes part of that project's records.

Is this bookkeeping or tax software?

No. Wrap Report organizes wardrobe project expenses and receipts. It doesn't run payroll, file taxes or replace your accountant's books.
